Introduction – What is Guru hosting?
Guru is a managed web hosting provider specialising in Cloud Hosting and cPanel they offer Litespeed servers with Lscache enabled so that your websites will be super fast.
Guru offer backups as standard.
No matter what web application you’re running whether it be WordPress with WooCommerce, Magento or anything else they’ve got fast hosting for you.
I know from previous experience that they have site scanning as standard so if there are any hack attempts or dodgy bits of PHP script on your website they’ll notify you.

My experience with Guru hosting
Guru is a very solid web hosting provider it was my first experience with Litespeed servers and I must say I was very impressed.
I was with guru hosting for about a year and a half on the reseller plan pro.
The hosting was very good. I have no complaints about it.
The only reason I left was the node limits on the plan were quite restrictive.
Although they give you a lot of disk space, the node limits will mean that you’ll never get there. So if you have dreams of hosting 1000s of websites on your 100 gigabytes the node limits themselves will mean that you won’t be able to get there.
A friend of mine suggested that I should run my own server so I decided to give it a go.
And that’s the only reason I really moved from guru was so that I could test out running my own server.
Conclusion – Guru hosting review
Would I recommend guru hosting?
wholeheartedly yes, if you want a fast website.
With their Lightspeed servers and their fully managed approach, you do get top-quality service.
The only way you’re going to get a faster website than guru hosting is by SYSadmin a server yourself which take it from me if you have no experience can be very stressful.
The only reason I moved away from Guru hosting was that I wanted to run my own server looking back if I knew then what I know now I would never have left.
Running your own server is very stressful especially if you have clients counting on you to keep their website up and running and getting emails into people’s inboxes.
Best to leave it to the people who know what they’re doing.
So yes I would recommend guru hosting because it is one of the best web hosts I have used to date even though I don’t like cPanel.
SiteGround is a shared hosting cloud provider that offers similar features to Guru hosting but without the Litespeed servers.
The Siteground dashboard is much easier to use than cPanel though.
